Best Practices in Online Teaching & Learning Themes
LSC-Montgomery faculty are embarking on a college-wide collaboration to identify and share best practices in online teaching and learning across the disciplines. The best practices selected will reflect effective teaching strategies implemented by our faculty, as well as resources that empowered them to support student learning. The theme pages will also highlight resources from professional organizations that represent current trends in online teaching. The goal is to share proven techniques and inspire innovation. The themes identified include intentional course design, assignments & course activities, reading and feedback, accessibility, communicating with students, and academic integrity. Faculty are invited to recommend additional topics. If you would like to join the faculty working to identify best practices for a particular theme, please contact MC-FRC@lonestar.edu.
