Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

About DEI at LSC-Montgomery

The LSC-Montgomery Diversity Equity and Inclusion (LSC-M DEI) has created a DEI Action Plan for the AY 2022-2023. The plan reflects the voices of all Mavericks: students, faculty, and staff. We want to

  • Elevate Equity: Prioritize fair and contextually-appropriate access to resources and opportunities for all students, faculty, and staff at LS-M.
  • Activate Diversity: Acknowledge, celebrate, and catalyze different characteristics, values, beliefs, experiences, backgrounds, and behaviors of all Mavericks.
  • Lead Inclusively: Intentionally create and sustain an environment that supports direction, alignment, and commitment from everyone in LSC-M.

The LSC-M DEI web page offers you an opportunity to access our Diversity Action Plan, learn about our monthly events, resources for all Mavericks, and professional development opportunities. For our wonderful faculty, we have created the DEI Faculty Speakers Series; we invite you to sign up for our sessions, share ideas with fellow faculty members, and learn DEI teaching tips and strategies.
