The Write Place
The writing tutoring services are located in The Write Place (G103). The Write Place services include free consultations in writing, ESOL support, reading, and public speaking to improve students writing, communication, and reading comprehension skills across the academic curriculum. The Write Place works by appointments and walk-ins on a first-come-first-served basis.
In-person Writing Tutoring Now Available!
The STAR Center is now offering in-person services by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis. Students, faculty, and staff may reserve a time to access the STAR Center for specific services. For more information, visit STAR Center Appointments & Reservations. In the meantime, online tutoring and library services continue to be available for students and faculty.
Online Writing Tutoring with Brainfuse/TutorMatch
Our online writing tutors are available to help you with any project at any stage of the writing process with an emphasis on structure, word choice, content, and sentence fluency. We support writing across all disciplines and projects beyond the standard essay or research paper assignment.
Lone Star College System, in partnership with Brainfuse/TutorMatch, offers all enrolled students unlimited pre-scheduled tutoring services. Tutors are ready to help you make the transition to online classes.
