Online Academic Support Services

What academic support services are available to my students?

The Student Tutoring And Research (STAR) Center offers a full range of online services for faculty and students. These services include research and citation help, synchronous and asynchronous information literacy instruction, eresoruce access, and much more.

Online tutoring is provided by LSC-Online. Information about online tutoring can be found on VLAC's Brainfuse Online Tutoring page. We are actively working to move the in-person tutoring services provided at LSC-Montgomery into an online environment. Information about those services will be sent to faculty and students as soon as they are available.

Service Integrations

Faculty can connect students to library and academic support services resources by adding a link to the Online Student Services Guide in your D2L course and/or syllabus.
Integrate library services directly into your D2L course by collaborating with a librarian

LSC provides Office 365 to students, faculty and students free of charge. This resource includes installation instructions. To toggle a calendar on and off, click on the campus name
Use the Filter area to search for events on a specific topic
- Only items within your date range will be displayed
